Submissions

We are accepting submissions from new and unpublished authors and we have tried to make our process as simple and efficient as possible. Please
read the following carefully and if you still have any questions, feel free to
email us at queries@janechelius.com.

Please note:

* We do not handle children’s books, poetry, stage plays or screenplays
* We no longer handle science fiction and fantasy or category romance
* We do not consider unsolicited sample chapters or manuscripts
* We do not consider email queries with attachments
* You will ONLY receive a response if we are interested in considering more
of your work

Please be assured we do read and consider everything that is submitted to
our agency.

Please direct all email queries to queries@janechelius.com. Keep your
email as brief as possible. Introduce yourself and your work and include any
relevant background information you feel is necessary. Please enclose a
one-page synopsis and the first ten pages of your work in the body of the
email.

Our usual response time to email query is three to four weeks.
